In Loving Memory of Bob Borem

Robert "Bob" Borem, age 81 of Scottsdale, Arizona passed on May 26, 2023. Dear husband of Lana (Odelson) Borem; Father of Jill (Michael) Folley and Mary Eileen Brooks; grandfather of Danielle (Tim) Bode, Kodye Byrne, Nicole (Victor) Tzoumas, Ariel Tzoumas, and Jacob Folley; 7 great-grandchildren; brother of Eugene (Beverly) Borem and Kathleen (William) Jelinek. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Borem and his children Ann Tzoumas, James Borem and Patrick (Angela) Borem.

Bob was a very loved and respected man. He will be greatly missed by all. He was such a great friend to so many.  Everyone knew he was always willing to share his handyman skills. He and Lana were a great match and everyone who knew them found them both so enjoyable and compatible.

​

Over the last multiple years, Bob was instrumental to maintaining a functioning DSE community with his contributions of skilled handy work around this community. For this reason he will always be remembered as the unofficial member of the HOA Board who did a lot for the DSE-HOA. For example, before we installed our new gate, it was not an uncommon scene to see Bob at the gate for hours on working to maintain and repair the faulty components. He was always available and ready to help anyone who asked for help. We remember Bob and feel blessed by knowing him and benefited from his gracious acts for this community.
