My wife, Kris, and I live at 9290 E Hackamore Drive.  We have lived in Arizona for more than 20 years.  I retired from University of Phoenix in 2014 and enjoy spending time with family and traveling the world.
President
I grew up in CA, moved to AZ in 2001. My wife, my 9Â year old son and I have lived at the DSE since early 2015. I have been a member of the HOA since. I am a physician and work in the mid town Phoenix area. I like running and enjoy riding my road bike around. You may see me early mornings running in the community.Â
I think we have a wonderful community and amazing neighbors and feel blessed to be a part of it.

Living the dream. Sally, our son Ryan and I moved to DSE in May 2022 after living our entire lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. After serving in the Army, I graduated from college in 1973 and spent most of my professional career in Human Resources in the semiconductor industry. I retired after 36 years and have enjoyed visiting many places in the world. We are blessed to be a member of this community.

Design Review Committee
My wife Barb and I have lived in DSE since 1994. We raised 2 children here and have seen a lot of changes over the years. What drew us to this neighborhood was the beautiful Sonoran Desert, which is protected by Scottdale’s Environmentally Sensitive Lands Ordinance or ESLO. That coupled with large lots and required Natural and Open Space serve to protect the unique character of our development. Our friends and neighbors have made this a great place to live.
